I bought this camera one year ago from flipkart and now i going to review this .if you are beginners and littile bit confused about your first purchase especially for nikon camera then you can go with this model. its really great camera for beginners and very easy to understand its features as a i am still learning to use all its features. I am happy with my purchase :-)

Bought this camera about 6 months ago. Comes with a 18-55 mm lens which doesn't have great quality but its good for normal use. I also used a tamron 70-300 mm lens with this camera, the performance was awesome, it took some great shots. This camera is definitely worth the money. Go for this one if you are planning to buy a new budget DSLR.

I have had this camera for about a year now and its a brilliant camera.
This might be an entry level camera but many features about this are pro indeed.

As for the product, i'm new to the DSLR and did lot of researching and later i bought this camera. Though this gives the better features for the price range, this is still outdated but good enough for the beginners. I would recommend people to go for this camera.

using this d5100 from last 2months. very good slr around 25k.. nothing to regret.. if you are canon buddy then 600d can be comparable to this one which costs 7-10k more. but d5100 beats it in every aspect(except video capability). worth buying.
