Have to say I'm very happy with this camera. This is my first DSLR, and I put a lot of thought into buying it. I went for Nikon instead of Canon because the specs of the Nikon camera are a lot better than that of a Canon camera of a similar price.

It has great low-light performance and has a solid feel to it. The flip-out screen is an added bonus, and it's not just a gimmick. You find yourself using it more and more to take photos from different angles. And photography is all about the angles!

it is a very good camera in this price range infact the best one can find under 30k . learn photography for 6 months and then you can upgrade to a better prime lens or telephoto lens.

Well first of all thank u very much delivering this BEAST within 3 days. This is my first DSLR before I was using Minolta SLR. This camera has a very special feature --->LOW LIGHT efficiency to capture sharp images. One of uncle has a CANON and he is a CANON junk, he has also got surprised seeing the images of D5100.
Captured a lot of pictures and the quality is superb.

The Camera - Great Camera- Had reviewed on many Sites before buying & indeed is a very good pick at that price. Wont go into Nitty grittis - but happy of the product as of now also works with my Older AF - 70-300 ED lenses. though auto focus is not supported, that makes me work with manula focus for good :)

Nice Bag with it & Also recd 8GB card though online it was mentioned 4 GB .
