I love this D-SLR because of the 24.1 MP Sensor, high resolution display, effect filters and every thing. It gives good performance. It has good user interface, has stereo mics and speakers. It controls noise extremely well at high ISO values, even up to ISO 3,200. The exposure triangle (Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO) is displayed as three circles on the monitor.
It is very lightweight at just about 555 grams. After all these you may think Why didn't I give it a five star ?. That's because...

The camera does have a serious picture sharpness issue. This is reported by many.
The shaprness improves by taking pictures in live mode but it feels like a handicap that we have to take pictures this way. Tried out all settings modes but nothing really helps. Then I came across multiple websites where its mentioend that D5000 and D3000 series has this sharpness issue. Even older cameras like D60 produce better images.

Overall not impressed with the product. I doubt if they are dumping refur...

Purchased this a month back. Used it in one of cousins marriage and the results were more than satistying. Trust me it is better than Canon for any model under 35k.Just go for it. Worth every penny. Cheers!

With admirable 24MP, cool features, and hot looks Nikon D5200 is the best one can get to start his photographic journey. The major difference from its previous models is the movable LCD which actually does a lot for you. If u r stuck between choices, its the right one. With flipkart it will be even more awsome. i am searched a lot since 6 months before ending my search to d5200. it's one month i am using this camera & i am fully satisfied. the picture are great & sharp though i used in low light conditions only. the effects mode are just awesome. even i compared it, in low light conditions it beats canon 700d .
I can say that if you go with this one it cann't be a wrong choice even it's the best in 50k range .

I bought it in June 2015 and Till date it performed well, i have not purchased any additional lens yet, got to discover more with new lenses. But its a good camera. It was received nicely/safely/seal packed. Recommend product as well as the seller.

Got this camera few days back at a great discount. The delivery was done within 3days. Camera is great in every aspect. I would say its best for a beginner. And compared to the cameras of this range (canon 1000 series,600D or nikon 3000 series or 5100 ) i would suggest buyers to go for this.Only problem was, the packing was not proper but camera was not effected in any way.
