It is a beast. I bought it last year around September and it is super nice camera for the price. It also has wifi which is lovely as i can click and share photos via my phone.

A must buy camera......every thing perfect about it.....wi-if is there.....screen flipping is there which helps you to take photos in difficult angels...picture and video quality is awesome....flip kart delivery was fast and awesome.....I mean very happy and satisfied with the purchase

Fantastic camera. I think Nikon stopped production of this but still continuing with D5200, an older model. Strange. This model became rare to find.
Lot of good upgrades compared to previous model.

I am taken this camera recently , Flipkart is delivered this product with in two days and also it have two year-s warranty . I'm very satisfied , but my suggestion is Camera is nothing lenses are important .When you will purchase this camera , better to take (18-300 mm) lens . No need to take two lens (18-55 mm, 55-200 mm).it is waste of money.

I was worried about originality of the product, means Will Flipcart will deliver me original Japan made D5300 or will it be a Korean based D5300?

After arrival of the product, I really amazed to see that the product is Japan based.
I truly love the D5300.

i've used canon 600D, nikon D3100, D5200.. and now Nikon D5300
This camera may seem a little expensive with D5200 at a very lower cost. But the new processor the wi fi connectivity and the GPS is worth it.
The geo tagging works perfectly.
The wifi can be used to transfer pics or very well act as a remote for ur camera.. it is also useful in bulb mode as der are no shakes because of that camera button.
the camera came with 18-55 lens. which works fine.
but you won't know the cameras full poten...
