First of all the NIKON D5300 is an osm camera with 24.1 MP it shoots som realy gud pictures & videos then canon on the same range and the second big thing about this deal that they are providing us AF-S 18-55 mm VR 2 Lens which is latest one in nikon lens & also giving 8 gb memory card with nice basic leather bag . This is one of the best dlsr before graduating to pro cameras. Better than nikon d7100 and even canon 7d too. The 35mm 1.8 g lens I bought from flipkart works like charm on this camera.

Great picture quality with awesome and realistic colors. Very low noise while shooting at high ISO sensitivity. Easy to handle, highly impressed with the pictures when used with Nikon 55-300mm lense.

Light weight and good battery life. Wifi works great. Have used Canon cameras but Nikon has always proven to be the best when it comes to colors and sharpness of picture.
