Nikon D 90 is a nice DSLR. I am new in DSLR field but pursuing this hobby for last 38 years with film camera. D 90 is very user friendly model with controls at finger tips and can be operated with ease. Manual control is nice and can give very nice result with fine adjustment. So far picture resolution is satisfactory with Nikon KIT lens 18-105mm. Two things I like in this camera.. 1) magnesium alloy top and back and 2) pentaprism viewfinder instead of pentamirror viewfinder in most cameras....

Ofcourse Nikon D90 marked a turnigg point in the DSLR series. Although 5 years old still D90 holds a dignified position in DSLR market.

I am new to DSLR camera, and have brought this camera after consulting my colleagues. This is a very flexible camera with lots of adjustments possible for the perfect photo. I have now been using it for about a month and the photos are simply amazing! Just like another reviewer, I would say - nothing short of this camera is worth while buying a DSLR.

design refresh with slightly sharper lines, the D90 is externally very similar to its predecessor (dimensions are identical, though it is heavier). Looking at the differences it's obviously a solid incremental upgrade rather than a total reinvention of the popular D80, with several key improvements (most importantly the sensor and screen) and a welcome smattering of must-have 2008 features (live view, dust removal). Oh yes, and of course there's that one little new feature sitting at the back...

Be sure to get addicted to this camera.low light shots are a pleasure to watch. Excellent choices of lenses you can't fail in this camera. Until you learn use the auto mode. Some excellent user guides are available in flip kart for you to get trained. Best way is off course to use and learn from mistakes if at all you make one.
