The battery is authentic and received on time as per delivery date. Cost was lesser than jjmehta.com. I recommend flipkart for buying Nikon batteries online.

Flipkart is propagating wrong notions in the media by claiming that it sells only original products

It's an original Nikon battery, in Nikon packaging. It looks exactly the same as the one that was included with my camera. (Ordered from WS Retail)

This shipment of my product showcased the worst of packaging ever produced by Flipkart.
* There was no bubble paper
* The invoice was folded inside an envelope carrying this paper box
* The paper box was badly mangled
* The final packaging was simple staples covered by cellophane tape
* NO weather sealing, no tamper detection

Overall, the WORST packaging ever by Flipkart.

However, since I got the Original NIKON battery in express time, I'm giving the "2" rating
