I've purchased this cam today, Although I didn't purchased this through flipkart I would like to share my experience about this Nikon Coolpix l820.

It's simply awesome. I tested in different ways and it satisfied me well.

Pros.
1. Amazing 22.5mm Wide angle lens that captures a lot of details.
2. 30x zoom can be very handy if you're in an auditorium, sitting at the back trying to capture your childs performance..(just one of the many uses of this amazin lens)
3. BSI CMOS with f/3 - f/5.8 Aperture captures really good low light images with much lesse...

I bought this camera from a retail store and not from Flipkart. Since I read a review before buying anything , thought would share my views on this purchase.

I had been reading several comparisons online but couldn't be sure which one to buy. So I went to a shop and checked out both with all my knowledge I had over manual settings and automatic.
Few misconceptions about L 820:
1. Sony loyalist will tell you L820 doesn't have a manual mode. Its wrong. It has actually 2 automatic modes: easy and normal. In normal automatic mode, you can go for manual settings.

Nikon Coolpix L820 is an awesome product from Nikon. This camera has awesome capabilities to capture high resolution pictures as well as tiny macros in low-light as well.
This product is quite nice when it comes to low-light photography.
Although the image appears to be blurry when in motion(even in sports mode), it is a nice camera with high possibilities.
The 'Smart Portrait' mode is very nice for capturing portraits, even in low light. The CMOS sensor is very nice.
Overall I like the product.

Creating eagerness to buy a DSLR ..however i am more that happy with my NIKON ...
