Nirangal meaning colours, is an attempt to bring various genres of music and Tamizh together, creating a very international sound. The idea of the album was toproduce music that is not restricted to any particular demographic, geography, culture, lifestyle, class or a section of the society. The album draws inspiration from life, love, people, nature, things, animals and the society. Each song on the album is like a new colour encompassing different styles of music and moods. The album also comments on social issues like child labour, illiteracy and inequality through songs like Accham Illai and Endhan Karangal to create more social responsibility and awareness. I recorded the first song three years ago and working with all the artistes who have contributed to the making of Nirangal has been a wonderful experience. I hope Nirangal makes you dance, sing, love, think and add a new colour to your life.
The album kicks off with sappa matter da which is an energy filled track which in my opinion is the gangnam style of India lol, after which manjal veyil which is a such a beautiful song and for me this song is the best in this album. All in all an album which covers almost all bases and full marks to amrit and dheeru . Outstanding work.
