Josie Joseph
is an internationally renowned investigative journalist and writer based in New Delhi. A native of Cherthala, Josie has worked in various media organizations for the past three decades. Having worked as the 'National Security Editor' of 'The Hindu' and the Editor of Special Projects of 'The Times of India', many of Josie Joseph's stories have led to resignations in central and state ministries, transfers of high-ranking officers, several arrests and investigations by central agencies. He is the founder of Confluence Media, a company involved in various fields such as investigative journalism, fact-finding, and documentary-filmmaking. Josie is a Global Fellow at the Edward R. Murrow Center at Tufts University in the United States and a visiting professor at various educational institutions in the country and abroad. Josie, who has received national and international awards, including the Prem Bhatia Trust's 'India's Best Political Reporter' (2010) and the Ramnath Goenka 'Journalist of the Year' (2013), won the Crossword Award for Best Non-Fiction Book of 2017 for her debut book 'A Feast of Vultures', published in 2016. Her 2021 book 'Silent Coup' was included in the Guardian's Must Read list for 2021.
