No Man is an Island (English, Paperback, Bond Ruskin)
No Man Is An Island is a short-story collection from Ruskin Bond which explore friendship and trust.
Summary of the Book
Ruskin Bond's familiar and subtle style tell the stories of youth, companionship and mutual trust, and in each of these stories, he shows readers time and again that man is a social animal, never alone and forever in want of companionship. In memorable stories such as The Woman on Platform No. 8 where a young boy meets a mysterious stranger, and The Crooked Tree, wherein a writer and a hawker form an unnatural bond, this message comes alive. No man is an island, complete in itself. Instead, all men are part of a large continent, a part of the mainland.
