About the Author
Allen Carr was born on September 2, 1934, and started smoking at an early age of 18. He was able to quit the habit only at the age of 48, after 30 long years of addiction. Carr was an accountant by profession, but he resigned in the year 1983 to start an Easy way clinic, to help people quit smoking. His famous clients include Hrithik Roshan, Anthony Hopkins, Ashton Kutcher, and Britney Spears. He is the author of many bestsellers like, The Easy Way To Stop Smoking, The Easy Way To Stop Drinking and The Little Book Of Quitting. He succumbed to terminal lung cancer and passed away on 29 November, 2006.
