    Nokia has introduced C5-05, a stylish GSM touch smart phone that keeps you connected and entertained throughout the day. The Nokia C5-05 is driven by Symbian v9.5 OS 5th edition series 60 operating system. The phone comes with a 600 MHz processor, thus enhancing the performance of the handset. The Nokia device sports a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display that displays the applications on the handset in an impressive way.

    A resistive touchscreen is made of 3 layers and requires you to put pressure on it to sense the area of touch. The resistive touchscreen in the Nokia C5-05 works with any pointing devices like stylus, pen, or even nail. The use of pointing device makes the touch screen usage more accurate.

    The bar phone is loaded with 2 megapixel primary camera which gives you an enhanced photography experience when you are with your friends. Camera features like image rotation, self-timer, white balance, Geo-Tagging, full screen view finder and image editor allows you to get a better picture. The 3x digital zoom helps you to go close to the subject and capture images with more clarity. The Nokia handset allows video recording at 15 fps with 640 x 352 pixel resolution.


    The Nokia C5-05 has a plastic body surface with calling options beneath the display of the handset. The volume rockers are situated at the right side of the phone. The primary camera and the sound grill is situated at the back of the Nokia handset. Other sensor features like Accelerometer auto turn off is preinstalled in the handset.

    The Symbian phone is powered by Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery which provides a talk time up to 11 hours. When fully charged, the Nokia handset provides a standby time up to 600 hours. The touchscreen handset has an embedded memory of 40 MB which can be expanded up to 16 GB using microSD and microSDHC cards.

    The Symbian touch phone can access the Internet through GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi platforms. The preinstalled browser in the phone lets you check your personal and professional emails on the phone. Connectivity options like Bluetooth and micro USB port let you share files like music tracks, videos and images with other devices.

    You can also store your favourite music tracks and play them on the preinstalled music player. The 3.5 mm audio jack in the Symbian phone allows you to use any generic headphones on the handset. If bored from your music library you can also tune into your favourite FM channels and enjoy the shows on the loudspeaker.

    The Nokia C5-05 allows you to stay connected with your friends 24x7 through the social networking sites. Applications like YouTube help you to keep a track of the latest video release. The Push Email Facility allows you to check your emails through your phone. The document viewer preinstalled in the Nokia handset lets you to do office related work on the move. A-GPS installed in the Nokia phone allows you to find direction while commuting long distances.
