There are a lot of expert reviews about this phone already in the internet. So,
instead of just re-stating the same, I thought of covering few areas that are
    practically essential.

WP7.5: Can't be upgraded to WP8. (WP7.5, when introduced, was not compatible
with HD Screens, Multi-core processors and expandable SD card slots. These '-'ves
were corrected in WP8) But to tell u guys, these are no big deals. 13.8 gigs of
internal storage seems ok, and the 800x480 (252 ppi) resolution for a 3...

    Too Good...!!!

Mango Beats apple guys. This is a must have one. May be Samsung Omnia W might have a better screen and cost. The choice is your's. But Microsoft has done an awsome Job here. Especially after the update which fixes Twitter and FaceBook. The most userfriendly i've ever seen. Android 2.3 looks cheap in from of Mango(Windows Mobile7.5).

    Eyegasm.....Wild and Sexy Lumia!

It all started back in Dec 2011 when I first saw this dame of phones! I was blown away, not by OS, performance but by the sheer presence.
I wondered what the name could mean, further digout, it was revealed to me that it meant snow (Prostitute in spanish! lol).
No wonder both are my obsessions.

Cut to July 2012, I bought one for myself and believe me its amongst the best decisions I've made in my otherwise dreary life!

First of all, to all the Apple/Android fanboys who have been left i...

    Pure pleasure

I bought Lumia 800 through flipkart and it was a speedy delivery. 2 days. That was fast.

Initially I was an Andriod fan. Although I never owned one, I have used sets like Wildfire S, Galaxy S, XPeria Arc etc owned by friends. I also had plans to buy a Galaxy S.

Then I came across HTC Mozart and I was impressed with WP 7.5. I have since then kept tab on all the new releases.

I have tried my hands at Dell Venue Pro, Omnia W and HTC Mozart (Mango updated) before rounding upon Lumia 800 as my ...

    A Fantastic Phone

This is a fantastic phone and is highly recommended. A fresh OS and much need change from Android and iOS.

And please dont be misguided by reviewers and analysis based on only the specifications. (e.g single core processor, 512 MB RAM etc.)If only compared at a hardware level, new android devices in this price range would score better.

I suggest you to have a hands on experience of this phone and I bet you will love it. I read a review yesterday which compared the new nexus with lumia and n...

    Love it!

This is the best phone running Windows Phone 7 out there in the market. The stunning AMOLED screen with CBT is one of the best screens in the market. Many would object that SGSII has the best screen but SGSII's whites are bluish whereas Lumia 800's are not. Some would say that it does not have a dual core processor but the fact is that WP7 does not needs dual core processor, its fast and responsive and does not lags, ever and Android always does. With bonus features of Nokia on WP7 like NokiaD...

This is a great phone. Nokia you have arrived finally and with a bang.It is the best phone available today in the market. Forget Samsung galaxy etc..just holding the Lumia gives you a different experience. Great engineering product from Nokia Lumia 800. I have used Galaxy 2 and iPhone but belive me the Lumia phone physical quality is robust and OS is like butter.Noting comparable either from Samsung or iPhone. Future will be for Nokia once again.

    MY Lumia Experience

My views, for what it's worth; This is an excellent little device. Had it for just over a week now, and love the fact that complete strangers are coming up to me and asking me what device I'm using. It's gorgeous - pictures don't really do it justice, the screen is pure black and merges beautifully into the very narrow bezel. The design is pure gold!

WP Mango is sweet, I love the UI, and the integration of messages, photos, FB, Twitter etc is the best of any mobile OS out there. Full stop. O...

Nokia Lumia 800 - Good, But Not Great.

    Hi All,
Most of the reviewers have written very helpful and insight filled reviews of using the Nokia Lumia 800.
I had read a lot of these before I finally took the plunge. So its my chance to update you all with my usage experience of the phone.

I haven't been disappointed - (I still spend 1-1.5 hours a day playing with the phone) - but I have realised that Nokia's skills of phone making haven't completed been inherited by the Windows phone team.

While the phone scores high on looks, inte...
