Not so good for the price...

I have a Lumia 620 and have used Galaxy Grand. My friend just bought the Nokia X a few days back and I had a chance to play with the phone for some time. There a few things which I really did not like. And here they go:

1. In Android, you simply press the Home button and it shows you the running apps. You can then just swipe away the apps you want to close. In Nokia X (and Lumia phones), you have to press the Back button to close EACH app while you are using it….and this is sometimes very ir...

Totally worth it

Nokia Quality is Maintained at the Top as expected.
I am using Android since 2 years, I have used Sony Xperia TIPO, HTC Explorer, Zen honestly Nokia X is way better than all of them.

A very good phone. Nokia X is having a very new design to use android. If you are bored with old android and want some change go for it.
those who are planning to buy this one and still confused between several android phone and this one these point can help them:
1) Hardware quality is commendable.
2) Camera is...

Good Phone

Firstly, typical Nokia quality-Robust.
It is one of the 1st phones from Nokia "based" on Android platform but integrated with the Windows "Metro" UI.
Certain points to be considered:
1. Built:
Not to worry the best build quality you can expect from Nokia. definitely long lasting.

2. Hardware and performance:
In need not to go to typical specs but yes some of us may find the phone laggy at times, it is because of its low RAM. Yes you can call it slow but I've used Samsung Galaxy 2 and if you ...

Great Hybrid.

What generally happens when we make a hybrid? Why we try to make hybrids at all? Surely, to get the best out of both the parents. Nokia has done the same and Nokia X is a great such hybrid we were somewhat waiting for.

I want to say I have used Samsung, Micromax, Karbonn and even XOLO for that matter. All works on the same android and looks just about the same. I was bored and fade up. Thankfully, My XOLO mobile crashed and I had to buy a new one.

Nokia X is a budget mobile(keep tha...

Good buy for the price!!

I have been using this phone for 3 weeks now. i haven't faced any major issues with it and all the android apps I ve installed work pretty fine. No glitches or hanging either. The major cons of this phone include heating up of the battery and less battery life. If you are a moderate to heavy user of internet(3G), then you will not like this phone as the battery dies out more often than not in 6-8 hrs. At the same time, if you are not much into internet(3G), the battery lasts more than a day. ...

Nokia X

This product is directed towards first time smartphone users to get hang of the tile based UI or metro UI. Individually the performance of apps is smooth, but multitasking cannot be done. The UI is smooth with no live tiles. The screen is responsive to touches and the build quality up to the mark. Third party app stores do make up for the loss of apps in the default store (whatsapp available in third party app store) but the hardware puts restrictions on all the games which we would want to p...

A Good Buy For 6.7K from Nokia.

I bought this phone for my mother a few weeks back. I wanted to buy the moto e but it was out of stock on flipkart( I would still exchange my nokia x with it!) and we could not wait quite a lot for it. I had few other options like the lumia 520, S duos. The lumia 520 was an out of option because my brother has a 525 and they would like exactly same. The S duos was high on the price and the look of it was next to a galaxy Y. So, this was a good option as i got nokia's quality and android apps....

Before Moto E, I won' thave hesitated to give this 5 starts

Bright and clear screen. If you have prior Android experience, then Nokia X's UI will take time to get used-to, and you might find few things a bit quirky, but nothing that you cannot learn to work-around. Bought the Nokia-X for my wife, and found the device quite pleasing and "Nokia" like, i.e. feels solid, robust and something you can consider as reliable.

Technically, 512MB RAM and the processor don't make it very fast and responsive, but didn't notice irritating lags either. I don't imm...

Good and Decent Phone

Android open source...and used the jelly bean as their base for programming
Android Jellybean 4.1.2 heavily edited as Nokia x Software v1.1
At this price, You would want to have a flash on the camera but still the 3.2mp camera is decent enough to take pictures.
Its even good to play games with the Adreno 203 Gpu...u can run REAL RACING 2 ON it
Please dont fill the memory with apps that are useless coz it would then make the phone slow and hang sometimes.
ALL PHONES HANG UP COZ THEY ARE A COMP...

Nokia X review

Good basic Nokia smart phone with Android apps and windows like UI. Not many will appreciate this, but if you know what you are getting, its a good phone which you can tweak to your preference (as it is AOSP android under the skin)
Excellent screen and build quality.
Battery life is also good lasts for 2 days if you switch off wifi.
Like the Fastlane feature which notifies on the lock screen, very useful.
Loudspeaker position is not in ideal place, if kept down the volume turns very low.
