OCZ Vertex 3 60 GB Desktop, Laptop SATA Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (VTX3-25SAT3-60G)  (Interface: SATA, Form Factor: 2.5 Inch)

Purchased this SSD 2 months back from FlipKart. Received the package within 30 hours (in Delhi).
Using this SSD on my 7 years old P4 system at 3Gbps. Earlier booting time was more than 3 minutes now its has been reduced to less than 1 minute as compared to my earlier 7200 RPM HDDs. Application launch and response times has also been reduced to 1/3 to 1/4 of initial times.
This SSD has leased at least 2 years more to my old horse (P4).
But so far I am satisfied with its performance on a 3 Gbps...

I have tested this hdd on my sata 2 mobo.
Windows 7 32 bit load time ~ 15 seconds.
Shut down - 5 seconds.
Photoshop, dreamweaver , all loads remarkably faster.
Benchmark seq read -265 mbps,write, 90mbps on sata 2 mobo.
Seek time less than .5 millisecond.
No issues yet (updated firmware to 2.25).
Better than ocz agility 3 in benchmarking.

Spoiled my hard disk when I dropped my laptop. A 320GB 7200 rpm hd would have set me back by Rs6k and I had a 1 TB external already so I got this SSD. Performance is stunning! It is really fast. Almost 3 times as fast as my previous hard disk. Installed Matlab (a 6gb software) in 1.5 minutes! Only downside is its small storage capacity. Its good enough for your OS partition. Highly recommended product gets 5 stars from me
