Classic book on optics by eminent Professor Ajoy Ghatak. A complete guide including most fundamental to advanced topics. Don't know about modifications in content in the latest (7th) edition. Multicolored pages are attractive. Go for it of you're a science student or just interested in exploring the world of light.

The colours are good..page quality is good. But there are huge mistakes .. it's better you take 6th edition
7th edition is rubbish. Hope you don't want to regret it later. Don't fall for this late edition and beautiful colours.

This book describes the content well. Sometimes it's timetkaing. Math is very direct and makes little issues
