Omron bp monitor and digital thermometer
I found the result of BP monitor is highly erratic and unreliable.It gives lower readings by 10 to 20 mm,which makes it very unreliable and the purpose of procuring it is defeated.
2. Regarding Omron digital thermometers ,it is stated that it gives an error of 0.5 degree F between their two thermometers and also against conventional mercury thermometer as against specified
error of 0.1 degree.

Incorrect readings
Flipkart service was superb, and it reached before than expected (the money-back was equally prompt).
But, the monitor gave incorrect readings for all of us in the family (We confirmed this by taking the measurements at the doctor's office). I cross-checked the hand positions, and the indicator signals, but everything seemed fine.

Good Product with a note of caution.
1) Readings accuracy of +-2mm. I compared with another machine of a
different brand for accuracy.
2) Overall build quality very good.
3) Arm band fits well. Please check your arm size cause for slightly overweight individuals
the Medium size arm band may not fit properly and with an improper band
readings are always inaccurate.
4) I downloaded from the OMRON company website brochure for HEM7201. In it

And the reading is far from doctor's reading.This is my second monitor from Omron
If this is from a good company like Omron, it may be best to avoid all digital BP monitors.
For me it has been is a waste of money.

Intellisense is a bio-information sensing technology which ensures the accuracy, ease of use and comfort of the monitor by inflating the cuffs so that the user does not have to do it manually. This is convenient for those who have hypertension, heart disorders or arrhythmia as their blood pressure is likely to fluctuate.
The Omron HEM 7201 is designed with a single LCD monitor and comes with a backlight which can be controlled using the one-touch buttons below the screen. It has an electric pump and pressure release valves which is controlled by the Intellisense technology. The monitor is powered by 4 AA batteries.
This monitor uses an advanced averaging mode which takes the average of the last 3 measurements and displays them on the screen. It also has an automatic memory feature which saves up to 60 sets of readings for two users. The date and time of the measurement is also stored on the monitor for future reference.
This monitor has a number of indicators which helps the user understand the readings that are displayed. Not only does it monitor your blood pressure, but it also monitors your body movements and, if present, irregular heartbeats.
