This book is good enough if you just want to know at high level about life of Jeff Bezos. However, it deals with complexities of building a company like Amazon.com at a very superficial level. In fact, it is more accurate to say that it doesn't deal with those kind of issues at all. It is treating Jeff Bezos more like a super star with extra ordinary skills (which I am sure he has). But i would have expected things in this book which add to learning of reader after he/she reads a biography.

If you are a Amazon fan...just go for it.But compared to the other bio(steve jobs ,jack welch) and case studies (walmart,toyota) this lacks somewhere.
This book gave us a fair detail of visionary and charismatic leader - Jeff Bezos and his artistic way of thinking and customer centric working methodolgy.It also delineates how Amazon - a synonym for online retail business came out of all dark clouds surrounded them and stand still at the pinnacle .
The part I like the most is 1 click software ...

The story of Jeff Bezos is intresting but the book only tries to potray what happened with amazon.com as a company and not really into the thought process of Jeff Bezos. Its kind of writing a story out of news articles and financial information of the company. Not enough from interviews or unknown information.. its worth a read but not the price..

The book is good if one wants to know about Jeff Bezos. However not much has been mentioned about Amazon. Overall I am disappointed a bit.

Still it could definitely be read - hardly a 3-4 hrs read.
