Such a brilliant author, reading 'One Summer " was an emotional journey for me... would read it again and again..highly recommend to all who has ever seen, felt or have been loved or loved anyone.

A really touching, heart warming book about a family who is firstly broken apart by an illness to the father, but how they are slowly united as a family again. It depicts a husband's love for his wife, his heart break at her death and how obsessed he is with her when them move to the place where she had grown up. A teenagers mind confused with how to deal with illness of her father, but eventually love for him shows her the right way. A truly moving, and touching story. A wonderful read.

'One Summer' is a must read for people of all ages. It is a wonderful and heart touching story about a family. It compels us to think back on our relationships and understand them better. David Baldacci has done an amazing and creditable job on this one.

A lovely book for adults and teenagers alike......... Such an emotional story.... Never a dull moment. a page turner through and through.
