Must read

When I picked this book, I did it out of curiosity. The cover seemed too peculiar for an Indian author I had thought. And I am glad I let my curiosity get the better of me! My kids at 9 and 11 have read it, I at 37 have read it and all of us have immensely enjoyed it. It is a fast paced, utterly hilarious inter galactic adventure with quirky characters. Absolutely must read.

Very Best Time-Pass Novel!

After i completed the last page felt the experience like seen a Nice movie from Walt-Disney's Film in words. But it is little costly.
All the chapters are coming sequentially, with out boring.Even its is worth to make a film with its background with nice screen-play.

Enjoyed it!

Oops the Mighty Gurgle, was a totally wacky and fun-filled read. Started 'Oops' (thanks to my teenage son's review - he gave it 2 thumbs up) on a lazy Saturday by the beach and finished it in one sitting. Douglas Adams meets Enid Blyton is the best summary I can think of..bound to be the start of a popular series!

Strongly recommended for all ages

- Very easy read, never found it dull at any point.
- Loved the use of pop and non-pop cultural references as hooks throughout the book. Added appeal for all audiences, i.e. can imagine 8 years olds and 60 year olds giggling/chuckling at various points in the book.
- A little more cunning/deviousness and a little more fleshing out of characters would have made the book even more appealing to the adult reader.
- Am certain kids would love and devour the book, am disappointed that my 4 year ol...

Oops the mighty Gurgle, a new dimension

Oops the mighty gurgle, has really opened up a new dimension. There was a big gap after Enid Blyton, till JKR came with Harry Potter.
Oops has arrived just in time to cater to the kids, and also the adults, who can buy the book, pretending as though it is for the kids and read it first before handing over to the kids.

Interesting for all ages, very well written and keeps one absorbed throughout.

Witty

Ramg does a time travel to vamoose back to his teens to figure out how the teens think and then writes a book that not only appeals to the teens but also to parents with teens. OTMG is an appealing blend of clever wit, smart spoofs, and plain old silliness that makes up a charmingly unassuming book. I read this book over 15kms on a treadmill over a couple of days and it was all I could do to keep from falling over and looking silly. Every third line made me want to break into a chuckle or a l...
