Mandar J. Khurjekar, graduated from C.O.E.P., University of Pune and has done Masters from UMIST, University of Manchester, UK. He was at C.W. & P.R.S., Khadakwasla, Pune as Chief Research Officer (Engg.) and then worked in the capacity of HOD at V.I.T. and V.I.I.T. Pune, Dean and Principal of V.I.I.T., Pune. He is a corporate member of many National and International organizations including I.E.T.E., I.E. (I) and I.E.E.E. (USA). He has a teaching experience at Undergraduate and Post graduate Engineering courses in Biomedical Electronics, Optical Fiber Communication, Linear Integrated Circuits, Mechatronics, Analogue Communication, Optoelectronics, Transducer design, and Electronic Product Design. His research interests are in transducers and instrumentation for biomedical, mechanical and civil engineering. He has 14 technical papers at International and National level, books on “Basic Electronics”, “Electronic Product Design” and one patent to his credit, besides a wide experience in Dam and related Instrumentation.
