Q:Is it good for my kitchen

A:Depends if you are planning on side walls then don't buy this. This fan works best for the ceiling, but the range is minimal. Better get a ceiling fan with 4 small blades in kitchen.

A:No much of a noise. but remember this fan is more of a ceiling fan than wall fan as it has 360 degree rotation.
