In the near future, when the world is threatened by giant monsters that destroy everything and everyone in their path, the only thing that can come to mankind’s rescue is a team of individuals who operate Kaijus, colossal robots built to fight and avert these disastrous monstrosities. Pacific Rim follows a former pilot of one of these Kaijus along with a new trainee team-up to help obliterate the sea creatures that have thoroughly wreaked havoc. Directed by Guillermo del Toro and starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi and Charlie Day, this science fiction action-adventure flick holds ample thrills and fierce action to offer.
