Frequently Asked Questions – OneAssist Extended Warranty Plan for Mobiles
OneAssist Extended Warranty Plan (EWP), covers cost of parts and labor in respect of the covered device for inherent mechanical and electrical breakdown/defects to the extent provided by the manufacturer’s warranty. In the event of any defect, customer can Intimate OneAssist via Call or App. OneAssist will arrange for Pickup of the device from customer’s doorstep, get it repaired from an authorized service centre and deliver it back to the customer.
With an extended warranty plan, you can extend the length of warranty by a further Six (6) or Twelve (12) months (as per plan selected) and protect yourself from spending thousands in the event your product breaks down.
Your Extended Warranty coverage begins the next day your manufacturer warranty ends and will be valid for a subsequent period of Six (6) or Twelve (12) months (as per the plan selected).

Customer has to purchase OneAssist Extended Warranty plan along with the device only. Once the device is delivered, OneAssist plan gets activated automatically.
You can cancel your OneAssist membership within 15 days of purchasing the plan to get a full refund. In case the membership is cancelled post 15 days, then no refund will be provided.
The OneAssist Extended Warranty does not cover products which have been misused, tampered with, modified or damaged as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact, lack of proper care and maintenance as indicated in the manual of operation. Consumables and Accessories are not covered unless otherwise specified in the OneAssist Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions.
Accidental and Liquid damage are NOT covered as per the terms of OneAssist Extended Warranty plan.
Customer can raise multiple claims within the Plan tenure with OneAssist. Maximum cumulative liability of OneAssist will be restricted to Invoice value of the device. In case of any claim resulting in replacement of the device, OneAssist membership will stop forthwith.
No, Repair & Labor cost for all the items covered under Terms and conditions is borne by OneAssist.
Beyond Economic Repairs (BER) is declared if the cost of repair or replacement is equal to or more than 80% of balance Sum Insured. BER claim is processed via Monetary settlement to customer. Customer is paid Market operating price (MOP) or balance sum Insured whichever is lower.

Customer needs to submit below mentioned documents post completing online claim form. Claim has to be intimated within 48 hours and complete documents has to be submitted within 7 days from Intimation.
Repair from any third-party service center or Engineer voids the manufacturer’s warranty and hence OneAssist extended Warranty plan will be declared void if any unauthorized modification in the device is detected.

OneAssist Extended Warranty services can be availed only during the period in which your extended warranty plan is live. You would receive these details in the welcome email which shall be sent to you post activation.
