  1. How does OneAssist Extended warranty Plan work?

OneAssist Extended Warranty Plan (EWP), covers cost of parts and labor in respect of the covered device for inherent mechanical and electrical breakdown/defects to the extent provided by the manufacturer’s warranty. In the event of any defect, customer can Intimate OneAssist via Call or App. OneAssist will arrange for Pickup of the device from customer’s doorstep, get it repaired from an authorized service centre and deliver it back to the customer.

  1. Why should I buy an Extended Warranty plan?

With an extended warranty plan, you can extend the length of warranty by a further Six (6) or Twelve (12) months (as per plan selected) and protect yourself from spending thousands in the event your product breaks down.

  1. When does the OneAssist Extended Warranty plan will Start & End?

Your Extended Warranty coverage begins the next day your manufacturer warranty ends and will be valid for a subsequent period of Six (6) or Twelve (12) months (as per the plan selected).

  1. Which Brand of phones are eligible for this Plan?

  1. How do I activate my plan?

Customer has to purchase OneAssist Extended Warranty plan along with the device only. Once the device is delivered, OneAssist plan gets activated automatically.

  1. Can I Cancel the Plan and get refund?

You can cancel your OneAssist membership within 15 days of purchasing the plan to get a full refund. In case the membership is cancelled post 15 days, then no refund will be provided.

  1. What is not covered under Extended Warranty?

The OneAssist Extended Warranty does not cover products which have been misused, tampered with, modified or damaged as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact, lack of proper care and maintenance as indicated in the manual of operation. Consumables and Accessories are not covered unless otherwise specified in the OneAssist Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions.

  1. Is Accidental or Liquid damage covered in the plan?

Accidental and Liquid damage are NOT covered as per the terms of OneAssist Extended Warranty plan.

  1. How many times can I claim for Repair with OneAssist Extended Warranty Plan?

Customer can raise multiple claims within the Plan tenure with OneAssist. Maximum cumulative liability of OneAssist will be restricted to Invoice value of the device. In case of any claim resulting in replacement of the device, OneAssist membership will stop forthwith.

  1. Do I need to pay anything for the repair?

No, Repair & Labor cost for all the items covered under Terms and conditions is borne by OneAssist.

  1. What is Beyond Economic Repair (BER)?

Beyond Economic Repairs (BER) is declared if the cost of repair or replacement is equal to or more than 80% of balance Sum Insured. BER claim is processed via Monetary settlement to customer. Customer is paid Market operating price (MOP) or balance sum Insured whichever is lower.

  1. How do I raise a claim?

You can raise claim post Login via OneAssist App or Website (www.oneassist.in) or call us at 1800 123 3330.

  1. What all documents are required to submit for a repair claim?

Customer needs to submit below mentioned documents post completing online claim form. Claim has to be intimated within 48 hours and complete documents has to be submitted within 7 days from Intimation.

  • Device purchase invoice
  • Govt ID proof
  • Images of defective device
  • Payment of differential between estimate amount and claim approval amount (if any)
  1. Can I get my device repaired by my own engineer?

Repair from any third-party service center or Engineer voids the manufacturer’s warranty and hence OneAssist extended Warranty plan will be declared void if any unauthorized modification in the device is detected.

  1. In what all scenario OneAssist Extended Warranty Plan can be denied?

Below mentioned are some of the important Exclusions under which OneAssist Extended Warranty Plan:

  • Unauthorized personnel attempted to repair the product.
  • Any kind of Accidental or Liquid damage to the device
  • Claim is not intimated within 7 days of the problem occurring.
  • Required documents are not provided.
  • Any misuse of product like use for commercial purposes.
  • Reason for product failure excluded in the coverage as mentioned in Terms & Conditions.
  • Defect or damage not covered under original manufacturer’s warranty

  1. Can I raise a claim through OneAssist Extended Warranty Plan when the product is under manufacturer’s warranty?

OneAssist Extended Warranty services can be availed only during the period in which your extended warranty plan is live. You would receive these details in the welcome email which shall be sent to you post activation.

For any problem during the manufacturer’s warranty, customer should contact the respective Brand’s service center or helpline for assistance.

  1. When do I get to see the Terms and Conditions of OneAssist Complete Protection Plan?

At the time of activation, you will receive a welcome mail with your membership details and a detailed Terms & Conditions link.
