    How does exchange work?

    Tell us about your old DSLR

    Once you've decided which DSLR to buy, provide details of your old DSLR in the Exchange Offer form. Offer valid on select DSLR only.

    Before you hit 'Buy Now', check with your pincode if the Exchange Offer is available in your location. Exchange is possible in eligible pincodes only.

    Hand in your old Camera Lens for new one

    Once the Order is placed, the new DSLR will be shipped. Hand in your old DSLR Camera (without lens), in working condition, to the field executive at the time of delivery.

    If your exchange item does not qualify for pick up, you can still get your new product by paying an additional amount (equivalent to the discount that you got for your exchange item) in cash at the time of delivery of your new DSLR.

    • Is lens eligible for the exchange offer?

      Only DSLR Camera body is eligible for the exchange offer. Neither the default lens purchased with camera nor any other lens purchased separately is eligible for the exchange offer. You need to handover DSLR Camera without lens to the wishmaster who would pick up the exchange device from you. The value of the exchange would be defined on DSLR Camera body and not on lens.

    • How do I know if my DSLR is eligible for the Exchange Offer?

      To verify if your old DSLR qualifies for the Offer, check the list of eligible DSLRs in the Exchange Offer form.

      Please note that only working DSLRs with no physical damage will be eligible for exchange.

      Products with the following issues will not be picked up:

      • Not Working
      • Cracks or damage on the body, LCD Screen or viewfinder
      • Specification mismatch as shared by you while placing the order from the old DSLR being exchanged
      • Brand or Model number mismatch as shared by you while placing the order from the old DSLR being exchanged
      • Loose or missing body parts
      • Usage of adhesive to fix the broken body parts
      • Internal screen damage i.e. blank white/black screen

    • How do I avail the Exchange Offer?

      Check if the exchange offer is available at your location by entering your Pincode. If available, fill out the Exchange Offer form. Ensure the product which you are exchanging has met all the requirements according to the exchange T&Cs. You'll then see the effective final price of the DSLR you wish to purchase

      Post that, the wishmaster will make a few checks during the time of delivery . Post the checks, you can hand in your old DSLR, in working condition, to our field executive at the time of delivery

    • How do I send my old DSLR back?

      Your old DSLR will be picked up by us at the time the new one is delivered. Kindly keep your old DSLR ready with all your data, if any, backed up and deleted from the old DSLR.

    • Should the DSLR be in working condition to qualify for this offer?

      Yes. The DSLR needs to be in working condition with no physical damage.

    • My DSLR is listed as eligible and exchange is available in my location. Are there any more conditions to avail the offer?

      Well, as long as your DSLR is listed as eligible and is in working condition and passes all checks as per eligibility criteria, it is good for exchange.

    • Do I need the device's bill of sale when I'm exchanging it?

      No. The bill is not mandatory.

    • Can I exchange more than one DSLR towards a purchase?

      You may only exchange one DSLR at a time.

    • What's the bill value when I avail the Exchange Offer?

      The invoice sent to you will have the final adjusted amount.

    • Can I provide one address for pick up and another for delivery?

      No. The address has to be the same as the pickup and delivery happen simultaneously.

    • In case I wish to return the new DSLR I bought in the Exchange Offer, will my old DSLR be shipped back to me?

      Unfortunately, the DSLR you are returning cannot be shipped back to you.

    • Can I hand in a different DSLR for Exchange?

      You can only exchange the DSLR for which you have provided details.

    • Any reminders before I exchange my DSLR?

      Kindly ensure all your data, if any, is backed up and cleared from your old DSLR before exchange. You may also remove the memory card, Flipkart.com or WS Retail will not be responsible for any misuse as a result. In the event the DSLR is not working or the delivery executive is not able to do check for working condition the exchange might not go through.

    • Why do I see a pickup charge for availing the exchange offer?

      When you avail the exchange offer, our courier partner picks up your old DSLR right from your doorstep. It is then shipped to the seller in lieu of the new DSLR. The pickup charge covers pickup from doorstep, packing and shipping of your old DSLR.

    • If my old DSLR is found ineligible for the exchange during delivery, is it possible to make an additional payment at that time and collect only the new DSLR?

      If your exchange DSLR does not qualify for pick up, you can still get your new DSLR by paying an additional amount (equivalent to the discount that you got for your exchange item) in cash at the time of delivery of your new DSLR.
