DAMAGE PROTECTION PLAN
TERMS OF SERVICE FEATURES AND USAGE
This document outlines the features and terms of Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan, a service that is brought to You by Onsite Electro Services Private Limited.
“We”, “Us”, and “Our” refer to Onsite Electro Services Pvt. Ltd. and “You” and “Your” refer to the purchaser of the Plan. “Device/Devices” refers to Small Home Appliances.
WHAT IS ONSITEGO SHA DAMAGE PROTECTION PLAN?
Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan is designed specifically to provide protection against any damage to Your Small Home Appliances for up to 1 year. During the Plan period, if Your Device suffers physical damage, We will get it fixed. You can book a repair service by placing a service request.
Please note that all features, services and benefits provided under this Plan are subject to Onsitego Maximum Liability adjusted for depreciation.
AWESOME BENEFITS OF SHA DAMAGE PROTECTION PLAN
Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan comes with a host of features that are designed to safeguard Your Small Appliances.
Damage Protection:
- This Plan provides coverage against physical damage to Your small appliances. Repairing a physically damaged Device often requires replacing parts with once in plan period, as most damaged components cannot be repaired and must be replaced. Therefore, The Plan allows one repair physical
damage during the lifetime of the Plan, where the required damaged part will be replaced.
- In case the required spare part is not available, a commercial settlement will be offered after adjusting the applicable depreciation value. The settlement amount will be reimbursed in the form of gift vouchers, which will be issued after the customer submits the invoice for the newly purchased replacement Device.
Plan Tenure:
- Appliances with 6-11 months of Manufacturer Warranty – Plan tenure of only 6 months can be bought.
- Products with 12 months or more of manufacturer warranty are eligible for both either 6 months or 12-month damage protection Plan.
- Guaranteed Support for Genuine Accidental Service Request: Rest assured that Onsitego will service all Small Appliances that have suffered accidental damage.
- Onsitego Approved Service Partner: Your Small Appliances will be repaired by an Onsitego Approved Service Partner using high quality spare parts every single time.
Free At-Home Repairs / Pick & Drop:
Whether it involves sending an engineer to Your home or picking up Your small appliance for repair, We will arrange the service for You.
- No Paperwork Required: Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan has a hassle-free process to file a service request. We only need to ensure that the Serial Number mentioned in the purchase invoice is the same as the Appliance on which service is requested. In case the serial number is Not available, You can provide the purchase invoice showing the appliance model details. You don’t have to submit any other document or fill up any forms.
Onsitego Maximum Liability:
Onsitego Maximum Liability under the Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan is the original purchase price of Your Appliance subject to adjustment for depreciation as explained in the Depreciation section below.
The Plan Lapses if Either of the Following Conditions is Satisfied:
- If the cumulative repair expenses exceed the Onsitego Maximum Liability; or
- If the Appliance has been tampered with; or
- The term of the Plan expires; or
- If Device is replaced; or
- If one damage related service is consumed
- If We are unable to repair the Appliance within the promised turnaround time due to non-availability of damaged spare parts, Our liability shall be limited to the cost of the required part only.

CO-PAY AMOUNT FOR SERVICE REQUESTS
A co-pay amount as given below is applicable at the time of raising a service request for any damage to the Appliance. Please note that the co-pay amount is non-refundable.
- ₹49 for Devices priced up to ₹500
- ₹99 for Devices priced between ₹501 to 1000
- ₹199 for Devices priced more than ₹1000
DEPRECIATION
Every Appliances suffer a reduction in value as it gets used for a certain period. This reduction in value is due to “depreciation”. The Depreciation Value is determined based on the age of the Appliance at the time of filing the Service Request.
Depreciation Value = (Appliance Depreciation Percentage as per the table) × (Original Purchase Price of the Appliance)

Depreciation value is used to determine Onsitego Maximum Liability under the Plan. At any stage of the Plan, Onsitego’s Maximum liability under the Plan will be the difference between original purchase price and depreciation value based on the age of the Appliance.
In a scenario where Appliance is not repairable, Onsitego will offer a Commercial settlement means maximum liability adjusted for depreciation and any previous repairs. The settlement amount will be reimbursed in the form of gift vouchers upon submission of the invoice for the new Device purchased by the customer.
Once the commercial settlement is provided, the Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan will be considered as fulfilled and Onsitego will have no further obligations, notwithstanding any outstanding term of the Service Agreement.
WHAT SHOULD YOU KEEP IN MIND
- Please ensure that the Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan is purchased on the same day as the purchase of the Appliance. Failing this, damage coverage may not be provided.
- We will gladly service Your Appliance as long as the Plan is active, it has not lapsed and You are the original purchaser of the Appliance and Plan. Also, the damage needs to have occurred during the active validity of the Plan.
- Serial Number mentioned in the purchase invoice is same as the Appliance on which service is requested.
- Cases, where Appliances have excessive damage (damage patterns which may not be explained by accidents), may be subjected to further investigation about the nature of the accident. If the damage cannot be explained as a result of an accident, We may not be able to service such Appliances.
- Damage should not be on account of normal wear and tear. For example, cracks may be covered, scratches are not.
- For Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan to be valid, the Appliance must have a minimum manufacturer’s warranty of 6 months, applicable in India. If this is not true, We will not be able to service the Appliance and You can claim refund of the Plan price from the retailer from whom the Plan was purchased.
- The Device submitted must be genuine, not counterfeit, and free from any legal claims, liens, loans, or prior sale/exchange agreements.
- Please note We will not make any warranty claim on Your behalf. If Your Device is still covered under a manufacturer warranty and develops an issue, You must get it repaired through the brand or warranty provider before handing over the Device to Us. We will not provide any repairs, service, or spare parts under this Plan for in-warranty repairs for any malfunction related issues during the brand warranty period
- If the Device was purchased through financing or EMI, all dues must be cleared and an NOC from the lender must be provided before initiating commercial settlement.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This Plan does not cover the following components or specific conditions:
- Appliances that do not carry an existing 6 months Manufacturer’s Warranty valid in India at the time that this Plan was purchased by You
- Loss, theft, or burglary of the Appliance arising out of any reason whatsoever
- Breakdown on account of any accessories not originally provided by the manufacturer of the Appliance
- Damage caused by corrosion and normal wear & tear
- Any civil or electrical work, including but not limited to wiring, drilling, structural modifications, power supply issues, etc.
- Appliances used for commercial purposes. For clarity, coverage is valid only for Appliances used for residential purposes.
- Issues arising as a result of non-operating or cosmetic deterioration that do not affect the functionality or operation of the Appliance.
- If modifications are carried out in consonance with the brand’s policies using genuine parts and through authorized service centers which increase the Value of the Covered Product then Onsitego Plan will continue to apply to he Appliances. However, it will only cover the original Purchase Price of the Appliance and will exclude the modifications carried out.
- Any other condition that voids the Manufacturer's Warranty prior to the end of its standard warranty period.
- Damages that occur during transit and prior to or during installation.
- Any malfunction or physical or liquid damage that has occurred prior to the commencement of Onsitego Plan or outside the Plan term.
- Products with removed or altered Serial Numbers.
- Damage occurring due to natural calamities like floods, earthquakes and acts of God.
- Damage occurring as a result of a fire / burn / explosion of any nature.
- If the Appliance is bought outside India or via a channel or retailer that is not an official channel mandated or recognized by the Brand.
- Appliance belonging to brands that do not have even one authorized Service Center anywhere in India at the time of raising a Service Request.
- Damage occurring as a result of a fire / burn / explosion of any nature.

HELP US, HELP YOU
- Buy Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan on the same day as Your Appliance purchase date and ensure that You are buying the right Plan based on the price of Your Appliance.
- At the time of purchasing the Plan, ensure that the invoice is electronically generated (printed) and has a complete break up of taxes and GST number. Also ensure that the invoice issued to You by Your retailer has the Serial Number that matches the one of the Appliance.
- Provide all the information requested by Us in a timely and truthful manner.
- If the Serial Number has changed on account of repairs or exchange by Your retailer or the Service center, please provide Us with a Swap Letter that will allow Us to authenticate that You are still using the same Appliance. Service Requests with Serial Number mismatch or where Serial Number cannot be retrieved will be rejected.
- And most importantly, use Your Appliance with the tender love and care that it deserves.

FAQS
Q What is the term of Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan?
A The Plan starts from the date of purchase of the Plan and is valid for either 6 months or 1 year.
Q I did not buy the Plan at the time of buying the Appliance, Is there a grace period?
A Onsitego SHA Damage Protection Plan should be purchased along with the Appliance. Failing this, damage coverage may not be applicable.
Q How many times will the Appliance be repaired?
A Only one repair service under damage protection Plan. You will need to book this service on Our app or website.
Q Why does the Serial Number of the damaged Appliance have to match the Serial Number registered at the time of buying the Plan for Onsitego to provide service?
A The Serial Number serves as the unique identifier of the Appliance. The Serial Number mentioned on the purchase invoice must correspond to the Appliance for which the service is requested. In case serial number is not available, we will validate the model details with the invoice issued by the retailer
Q I changed my mind and I want to cancel the Plan, can I get a refund?
A While We will be sorry to see You cancel the Plan, We can certainly refund the Plan within 30 days, provided You have not already filed a Service Request.
Q I damaged my appliance in 5th month of purchase and the Device is not repairable. Will I get a replacement?
A We will provide commercial settlement to the tune of depreciated value. Eg. If You have bought a coffee maker for Rs. 2,000 and damaged it in 5th month, a depreciation of 50% will be applicable and We will provide a commercial settlement of Rs. 1,000 ((2000x(1-50%)), in the form of Gift Vouchers.These vouchers wil be issued once You share the invoice of new Device
SOME LEGAL STUFF
- Non-fulfilment of any conditions set out in this document may cause the rejection of Your request; hence We solicit Your cooperation to ensure We are able to provide You with a perfect service experience.
- This Service Agreement is a complete agreement between Onsite Electro Services Private Limited and Customer. The retailer is only an authorized dealer of Our products and shall not be responsible for any of Your grievance with regard to the services to be performed by Onsitego under this Terms of Service. Any statements or representations made by resellers, ASPs or others that are inconsistent / contradictory with this Agreement shall not be binding upon Onsite Electro Services Private Limited and the terms of this Agreement shall prevail.
- We shall not be liable for delay or failure in furnishing services in the event of strike, government action, act of God, disruption in global supply chains or any other cause beyond Our control.
- Onsitego will not be liable for any indirect damage caused due to improper functioning of the product, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, business interruption, loss of data, lost revenue, loss of use, inconvenience, mental or physical stress, loss of life, disability, or any other commercial or economic loss of any kind, or special, incidental, or consequential damages.
- The Appliance for which SHA Damage Protection Plan has been purchased should not have any other Care Pack/Insurance or Insurance Linked Plan/Extended Warranty/Maintenance Contract, apart from the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Marketing brochures are meant purely for educating customers and do not have any commercial value.
- Any disputes arising in connection with this service shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts of Mumbai shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising hereunder.
- Onsitego reserves the right to withdraw / alter / modify / change or vary all or any of these Terms and Conditions of the SHA Damage Protection Plan at any time without any prior notice and without any liability.
