Does the job
Product built is good but the dual camera is not working up to mark. It is only used for wide angle feature and not for better quality image. I hope Panasonic will add image stabilization and other features similar to other dual camera mobiles. 2.1 GB of ram is been used by system OS and you'll be left with only 800 Mb of free ram. Coming to heating issues mobile gets heated up while browsing or using internet.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 is the perfect device for me. The 5 inch screen fits perfectly in my hand and doesn't feel too big or small. The screen is bright and the touch is very smooth. Was looking for a good camera phone when I came across the ray 500. Couldnt believe that there could be a dual camera phone at this price. Really Nice
After using it for more than two weeks here is my short review.
1. Display: decent but I think it's 5.2 not 5 inch.
2. Camera: 8mp wide angle camera is quite impressive. 13 mp rear and 5mp front are average. No portrait mode despite of dual camera. Flash and camera are not sync (I don't know if it's problem with my device only or with each eluga Ray 500) .you get horrible photos using flash since it flashes much earlier than capture. U LL get complete dark image.

Terrific! An absolute must Buy!
This dual camera phone by Panasonic indeed captures wide angle shots pretty well. The support of the battery life while you're busy doing various tasks on the phone is also commendable. Charging for 5 hours and it lasts the entire day!
