guys this is the awesomestic camera.. dont buy HX- DC1 because in same price it has more great feature ... it has 5x optical only but splash!!!! it has 120x smart zoom ... from which u will just slightly low quality then optical but amazingly great quality then digital zoom ... and it will work both for you #1 as a camcorder #2 digicam ... lots of camera in this range dont hav good mega pixle but do have great zoom ... if u see the high price camcorders then u will find that they hav low opti...

I bought this product a year back and amused by its versatile features, this product is capable of capturing still shots as well as video shots, extra memory card is available as attachment with the product, picture quality is good, but night shot is not clear especially when flush is used with little distance or outdoor, otherwise indoor photography may give you satisfaction at the end of the day. Slick body and portability is another advantage!

I recently purchased This camera and i'm very happy on buying this product . the 14 megapixel camera picture clarity is Awesome. The Panaroma mode is just amazing !! it is Very Good camera !! MUST BUY!!

If you are looking for a good quality video and moderate still picture quality, I suggest you go for this HX-DC2. We are using this since 6 months and it is good, never found an issue. it is very handy. it is small in size compare from imagine in picture.
Worth for money. Only clarity of night shoot doubtful. it may required 1000 Lux i don't know.

But day shooting very very good and zoom clarity very good upto 15X.

Camera image is quit good and picture is amazing in dark night with flash.

This Camera which comes from a reputed brand , it costs many bucks to people pocket. As there are some cool phones % cameras launched by Panasonic in recent days like T11 , P51 and LUmix . I'm opting for them as they comes with cool offers too.
