suprisingly light weight fr a 16x zoom camera...the exteriors are cool (i bought black model)..
i was amazed by the no of scene modes available...very convenient for ppl who want hassle free experience.
i speacially liked the 'starry night' mode where u can set shutter speed upto 60sec for an amazing night mode scenery..simply amazing!
this camera also has tripod set-up for photographic enthusiasts.

Best camera I have ever had of Panasonic.

I have some other Panasonic cameras TZ7, TZ10 and now TZ18, but this one has the best zoom in its class and crisp clear photos.

It is slightly slow while taking photos and also video quality is not as good as TZ7 but overall its a nice camera.

I originally intended to buy the Canon SX150 because Flickr was filed with gorgeous pictures taken by it's users but was having second thoughts because of the size. Just as I was about to place the order, I saw the link for the Panasonic DMC-TZ18 and bought it on a whim as the price was marked down substantially and I have always been a fan of Panasonic's products across the board. Also, it helped that a case was being given complimentary.

Those who want to learn photography it is one of the best to choose at a reasonable price.Somehow bigger than low priced compact cameras, but not too big also. 24mm wide angle lense is good at this price range with 16x zoom. it is a rare combination in such a price. Manu is user friendly. flash is good.In your hand it feels sturdy, not like other toy type camera with cheap metarials. Video is surprisingly very good quality. I am a video editor so i can say ...
