Waiting for Parashuram is a famous poem by Dinkar. The self-respect of the poet, meeting the good fortune, is seen waiting for a new future person. Contemporary awareness and practical thinking in the context of situations is essential for a poet. The present work was written after the Indo-China war. The poet says that we should be constantly aware to protect our national honor while protecting our moral values. Violence is not unreasonable to destroy the enemy on the battlefield. In the role of the presented composition, the poet himself has admitted that at the time when Dinkar started writing, the struggle for freedom struggle was in full swing at the national level to break the shackles of British slavery in our country. Due to this, the mind of the whole country was agitated. The return of the movement Gandhi-Irwin Pact, the Meerut Conspiracy and the hanging of Bhagat Singh and his associates, the establishment of the Communist Party and the synergistic ideology between the educated people was flourishing. At the same time, the establishment of the Kisan Sabha and its parallel Progressive Writers' Association had also been established. The event of the Bolshevik Revolution at the international level, along with the Socialist Soviet Union, brought a new ray of optimism.
