By far the best book for csat!!!! includes all minute details, truly valuable for beginners. all the subjects covered quite well. the multiple choice questions are quite an interesting as well as informative source.

they prescribed this book than other. i started reading and latest analysis is given about the exam . its like a guide that bounds us to go in a right track. good for beginners.

this is a must book for all the UPSC aspirants .. they have covered the entire syllabus in UPSC point of view and have given all the necessary information for both GS as well as CSAT ..!! there are more than 400 mock practice questions in each topics .. chapters such as environment, physics, chemistry, biology, economics are given in an updated manner .. they dealt in conventional as well as latest information .. !!

I bought this book for my prelim preparation , it is good as well have some drawback . It's very huge book.So, font size are small difficult to read.
The content of this book very depth not for prelim level more than that. I fought some questions and answers are wrong in mcq.

Apart from that Map and online material(Only for Mock Exam) was good.

I suggest this book only for long time preparation, not shot time(like 6 month).

The terms used are quite technical. the syllabus is quite vast. it is very difficult to distinguish what to read or not. several errors are there like shape of the earth ect. if one is not sure then he/she will acquire the wrong concept.
it is good as a supplement but not for beginers. better start with some other books and then switch over to this.

I don't know about CSAT Manual 2013. But 2012 has lot of errors. Errors that sometimes drive you crazy. I don't understand why these stupid fellows are publishing such a book for such an important exam. At least they should understand students are paying a good amount for this book

Pls do not buy this book; this is the worst book for CSAT; i first bought arihant but it was having some mistakes then i bought this pearson csat manual but after studying i found that it is the worst as
-the comprehension is loly-pop type
-lots of mistake in maths question and explanations
-reasoning is worst
-and many more
so pls dont buy, and teach them a lesson that having this much reputation they are producing
