Way way way better than others

Ok firstly- I already know Harsh sir, so my review might be slightly biased. But I'll try my best to stick to facts and write a review objectively.

And since I know Harsh sir, and also saw his earlier book on Current Affairs, I was really looking forward to the launch of this book. The book showed out of stock on Flipkart, so I bought it from the Pearson website.

Now the review- this book is a) way way way better than other CLAT books available in the market and b) much better than subject ...

My gratitude.

After going through various guides for the Common Law Admission test and various institutions that train kids for the CLAT, i feel that the Pearson Guide is one of the best i've come to use. Even Mr. Harsh Gagrani's tutorials helped loads but i guess that's not what this review is about.. Anyways, point is, the guide is great except that the GK section has got data of last 2012. would really like an updated edition. apart from that, this book's a good package.

This is a HUGE book

The good things about this book are:

1. Nice legal reasoning questions
2. nice CA chapter
3. really nice legal chapter
4. original critical questions (i was sick of practicing the same questions everywhere)
5. finally an authentic answer key to clat 2008-12 papers

bad things:
1. No analytical section
2. no Static GK section

I request Pearson to please add these chapters in the next edition. A good buy primarily for the quality and quantity of questions, explanatory answers and nice extra c...

Brilliant matter

I agree with the other reviewer.. that it is much better than others.. i hv read AP Bharadwaj and Lexisnexis till now.. and there are striking differences between the quality of questions there and here.. though i still haven't completed the book, i absolutely love it's preliminary tests and especially the legal reasoning section.. no other book has original questions on legal reasoning.. also, the Current affairs section has most number of relevant questions and notes that i've come across i...

Nice book

It's a nice book for CLAT, AILET, SET preparation, except a few mistakes here and there the book's almost perfect. The level of questions is high and it's fun to solve them, the explanation for the answers are also satisfactory. The hints and how to tackle this and that stuffs are also helpful. It's a good buy for law aspirants.

PEARSON ------ GUIDE TO CLAT BY GAGRANI----- TOTALLY A MISGUIDE

PEARSON'S CLAT GUIDE BY GAGRANI is not at all upto the CLAIMS posted over there which are self doctored and manfactured .

i m myself being a teacher of ENGLISH/GK would strongly recommend not to WASTE YOUR TIME , MONEY AND ENERGY .

INVEST THEM ON SOME WORTH READING BOOK LIKE UNIVERSAL AND/OR TMH .

DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY BY THE AUTHOR'S STUDENTS REMARKS Which should be taken just as a mark of GRATITUDE TO THEIR GURU which is BUT NATURAL

Value for money

i think the best part about this book is that it is almost devoid of errors.. i've been reading ap bharadwaj and universal's book since the past few months, which though much older are full of basic errors.. i haven't been able to find many in this book...

current affairs is v good and so is the legal and critical section... maths and english are above average... preliminary tests, extra chapters like 'one day before clat', 'one week before clat' etc are very helpful..

overall- highly reco...

More or less a complete guide

One problem I felt with atleast two other guides I bought (Arihant and Lexisnexis) was that 1) either the questions were really less or 2) not all topics were covered. This book I think addresses both these problems (200 questions on LR and 500 on aptitude, some 200 questions on RCs etc is pretty cool). However, the only thing that's missing is the analytical section. I request Harsh sir and pearson to include it in the next edition.

One more good thing about this book is the additional sect...
