Pretty good

The stories of this book are very engrossing mainly, the characters are portrayed in a minute but somewhat detached manner.
Manto's main theme mostly concerns with the agony of India's partition and its aftermath among the common people.
Manto's stories are a class apart.

Nice Pre-Partition Stories

Nice stories, gives you glimpse of pre-partition times when India and Pakistan was one. Manto's short story "Toba Tek Singh" rocks. Best thing about Manto is that he leaves a lot for reader to imagine.
