No doubt it's a bridge camera and not for professionals. If you're a hobby user go for it. Though, a person with a little bit technical knowledge and creative sense can make stunning photos with Pentax X-5. It's not look like a toy but pretty small with good hand grip. Flip screen is a good and useful feature of X-5. Its White Balance is standard. Finally, Pentax X-5 has good potential with multiple manual features. Always try to use its "Program" and/or "Manual" mode for ultimate performance...

PENTAX X5 is a very versatile camera given the price range color representation is better thought not great the blues and reds are great and low image noise can be achieved through manual tweaking.video gud but cant zoom in and out as it is sluggish come on its a camera not a camcorder .and all those reviews speaking ill of the same these guys even with a dslr you will complain the same(coz u dont no how to use one it doesn't mean its bad)

Bought this on exchange offer. For a point and shoot its an amazing camera. Quick, Clear and really easy to use. The sharpness of the images are bit of a concern but considering the price range it does a decent job.

The camera came with a nice bag which is unlike other free cameras is great in quality and has enough compartments for battery and cards.

This is a one of the amazing deals from Flipkart, i have exchanged my old sony P&S with this Pentax, I must say this is one of the high value for money product. Strong build and compact style. I'm a newbie in photography, but after 1 week of usage, i think you can take wonderful pictures if you use those several preset scene modes available in the camera. My 8 yr old son started using it at ease.

not good zoom quality is very bad.

you will get good camera for hobby photo graphy with 16 MP and 26 X zoom, lot of other gudies alng with like 8 GB card and carry case.

wont each much space. i will only write issues with it any those features which are either rare or not found in other cameras in this range (to my knowledge)

1- You cant do much color options while clicking the pic, can only edit later, very disappointing (normally we have burnt, vivid, super vivid, B&W, Sepia etc)
2- Royal enfield without thumping and camera with that genuine sound of "click" is a singer without voice. u cant hear that click in it. bad really bad

Flipkart order processing and delivery were quiet fast and super.
Regarding Pentax X5, total disappointment.
I am not a camera expert, but used Sony H7, Canon EOS 550D.
Picture quality is very average just in par with 8mp mobile camera, sony h7 8.1mp is far better. Optical zoom is good on LCD screen, but you cant shoot with hand, too much flickering. Optical view finder is pathetic.
Can't believe Pentax has come with such a worst product. You will hesitate to buy / recommend brand Pentax afte...
