Brilliant

In more ways than one, I could relate myself to Charlie. Then again, most people who read books can relate themselves to Charlie. He's simple, innocent, pure and just a boy who lost a friend and gains a handful of new friends. It's a story about him and his friends and his family. Nothing complicated. The language is simple and though I learned no new vocab, I learned that Life is very cruel to us. Yet, at the same time, it is worth living. Happiness found in your closest mates, love filling ...

An excellent book about the life of a young adult

I bought the book after watching the movie first, as I really liked the story and wanted to read it in original from the book. Being a great online store that Flipkart is, I got the book quicker than expected although I am staying in a remote area in Northern West Bengal. Many thanks to the Flipkart system for that!
Coming to the story of the book, I think everybody, like the protagonist Charlie, goes through a somewhat similar stage of adolescence and early adulthood when everything seems to...

Very good indeed!

When I ordered (or pre-ordered) this book I was not sure if it would make a good read, since it is a coming-of-age story(and after watching all those hollywood movies you kind of know what this stuff is all about) but I ordered it anyway.
Turns out it was GREAT! I love the way in which the protagonist thinks, I wish I could have a similar point of view.

Looking forward to the movie now, which releases this September.

Anyway, the book is very good and you will like it even if you are not a T...

Classy product

The book is just awesome. A boy living through the most toughest part of his life. The journey of high school life. The story is well crafted and is one of the best in its genre. The movie based on the book is also great I recommend it to all readers ☺️

Fabulous!

Quality is decent. On time delivery. Of course, it's a remarkable novel but in my opinion I think it's undeniably depressive (which it is!). But kinda insightful. Anyways, I love this novel.

This will become a companion for life!

The story is set in early 1990s and it might be nostalgic for many of us witnessing again those days through this book. The writing is quiet simple and blunt! The book is very real and no sugar coating makes it a really good read. It's a must read for those who love good books and for teenagers who are facing troubles especially mental issues and to all those wallflowers out there! I, myself being a wallflower can say that after reading this book you will definitely feel so much better and wi...

You won't need a bookmark for this one!

Heard of those books that you don't use a bookmark for, simply coz you just cant put them down? Its one of those! Parts of it make you cry, not because its sad but because its so innocently written that it amazes you with the way its all been put down on paper.

Its a diary of a boy who has actually treated his dear diary like a true friend sharing EVERYTHING with it! And the honest and beautiful expression of his experiences is the takeaway! There is so much in this book that anyone and eve...
