an amazing read , this was my fastest read , it grips your thoughts through out the way till the end, king is truly the master story teller. Beware you are entering the haunted and creepiest of books, read at your risk, but never at night.

Book quality was acceptable.
Story was not the best, if you’re actually a horror fan. Kind of long winding story with too much unnecessary detail imo that kinda takes away from the story rather than create atmosphere. The only really thrilling part comes in the last 50 pages of the book.
Not something I would recommend. Loads of more worthwhile stuff to read.

King mainly writes about death. I wouldn't like to spoil the plot, but let's say someone or something dies in the book and is resurrected. But for the majority of the novel, you experience grief from the POV of Creed family. It is a difficult subject to read about and King's writing makes it seem so real.

If certain someone dies in your family, you feel insurmountable grief, unable to express it in words and King does just...

I have read about this book in flavorwire website as one of the toughest books to read (For the subject content, i suppose). Well this book is difficult to eat kinda horror. But at some places i felt it boring, otherwise, horror - big time. The author himself admits this is the novel in which he crossed the 'limits'
