3years warranty offer not available online purchas
Philips had a offer valid for led tv larger than 32 inch purchased between March 1, 2016 through August 31, 2016. They were providing 3 years of free warranty; however, since I purchased it through Flipkart, I was not eligible for this offer. I am very disappointed. Flipkart should also save the interest of its customers. You can purchase 3 years of additional warranty from Philips, which would cost 6100/-.

Very good TV with very good price
I have benn using this tv for past 6 months.

1. Picture quality is very good.
2. Some of the reviews mentioned about low sound quality and sound being too low. I think the sound is sufficiently loud for home usage. Sound quality is not that good, like the bass and treble are not so good. But in common, LED TV's of any brand has these problems. A good all-round model, with strong picture + sound quality!
It was time for me to change my earlier LCD TV for Christmas (Philips again!) and I thought to myself, why not check this TV (Philips 42 inch Full HD LED TV : 42PFL5059). The TV was delivered in less than 4 days. The delivery team picked up the old TV under exchange. The engineer from Philips came home the next day and set it up. All of this was free of cost.

About servicing
The worst product I ever get.TV off from ten days ,service center says wait for another 4 days,worst product, worst product from flip kart and worst servicing from Phillips, 5 days taken to install and now another shoket is burn..and about 12 days no reply from Philips. Don't buy pls I beg to you.

Worked for 10days
I bought this product on 3rd and was promised to deliver it on 8th. But was delivered on 13th instead. Installation was done very next day. But now after 10 days the TV has stopped working. One thing I would likr to bring to the notice is that these TV's are not manufactured by Philips but by Videocon. Hence the substandard quality. I made a mistake but don't fall prey for the lowest price and discounts.
