Plus and Minuses :)
OK the +ve side first:
1) great clarity of sound
2) small (so dont go by the size of pic here)
3) alarm, timer - nice to have features
Now the -ve side:
1) May be its just me who is not doing it correctly or a manufacturing defect but let me share it -- autoscan works but somehow channels dont get saved in memory !! -really annoying
- followed the instructions per manual - no help!
- tried all permutation/combinations- still no luck
- any help someone who autoscanned and saved ...

Small and Simple
First things first , don't go by the image this is very small can fit in your palm , very accurate size for bed side table.
Very important functions of any clock radio are
1. Wake-up/sleep timer
2. Ability to show correct time all the time
3. Time / Preference backup
this clock does all of the above perfectly , and it's simplistic design, only three buttons to operate.

Better than average FM-clock
Pros:Radio is good for wake-up.Clock view is good particularly during darkness.Battery back-up is added advantage when you don't require the clock to run. Nice look
Cons: within 6 months the back-up battery didn't work even though the battery is in good condition and I had to re-enter the time and redo the FM radio tuning. Sound is not good.they could have provided better speaker

good but no so good
good one. handy and good clarity. drawbacks are the switches for putting on the transistor, are flat on the top and each time you have to feel with your fingers ,if you are placing the transistor on a stand above your head level. similarly, the transistor does not work when there is no power.

Worth buying but with few more features would have be the best product
1st thing is i love waking up listening to the my fav radio channel..
Would have been better
if speakers were stereo..
if 3.5 jack to connect to external speakers..

Good FM Radio - Clock
Just the right size, with a good digital display.
Sound quality is pretty good for a small room. Like other Radio-Alarms it is not a Hi-Fi system so don't expect it.
It comes with a wire antenna that can be unrolled to get a clearer reception.
It has a 9V battery connection (9V battery not supplied in packaging) which backs up the memory.

I received it today. I had been looking for a AC powered radio for a while and finally ordered this. Plus point is that this comes with a genuine Philips AC adapter as opposed to a few models that are being sold along with local Guru chargers.

I loved this radio right away.
Very simple to use. The manual instructions were very clear and easy on how to preset.
The digital tuning makes listening fun as now no longer turning the dial to an accurate precision.
Just use the auto scan feature by long pressing the tuning + and - button and find the next channel.
Set the favourite one’s as presets and you are good to go.
