A decent buy for the quality conscious buyer
Bought this a week ago from elsewhere .
If you have used portable speakers before , then this might sound just fine , not too great i would say. But if this is the first time you are buying a portable speaker system, then you will appreciate the sound quality.
The speaker is surrounded by a glossy black panel all around which attracts lot of fingerprints and dust easily.
The speaker supports most phones with a micro usb connection. how ever you do not actually require to place it on the dock ...

Good Buy
I did not buy this from Flipkart but from an electronics store. Got it for much cheaper. And i love it. Its perfectly sized and shaped and looks great too!Sound quality is good. If you want better, then you need to invest more. Android has a couple of apps on its store which provide quite a few extra features.
Im simply in love with it. And i would recommend a buy.

Pros
1. Sound quality for the size & money is excellent
2. Good sound volume for the small size
3. Easy to configure, no hassles
4. The phone dock design is very universal, able to accommodate all kinds of Android phone.
5. Great clock display and the ability to sync with the phone time to stay updated
Cons
1. The Philips APPS is very limited and no further value or functionality than the exiting Android phone OS. Most functions will comfortably work once paired with the dock

Poor product, won't last more than two months
This is a revised review. This product was delivered to me on 14 May 2014 and it got broken on 5 JUL 2014. It didn't last even two months of low to moderate use. The speakers in the unit seem to have got blown even with low to moderate use. I strongly discourage of purchasing this product. Go for JBL Flip 2 or GBL Charge instead as they are much reliable and have a longer life. Philips AS111 is complete waste of money.
