Can't be used for shaving your beard.But very good for body hair,it shave hair very closely almost like a razor blade finish.
It does not hurt or cause bleeding when you use it for groin region ( balls ( testicles)).It works very well for body hair but cannot be used at all for facial hair since it cannot cut long or tough hair.

Better Safe than Sorry
The blades are sharp and safe for body hair trimming. It's convenient trimming with this toy rather than with scissors or waxing. Have to blow off or wash clean the combs after every stroke to get the cutting blades rid of the trimmed hairs. The width of trimming blades may seem small for some with large skin area as it would take more strokes. The unit I have trims more hairs when used to stroke downwards. (Not so) Good
I bought this from Flipkart in June 2015. Its been 2 years and now the Trimming Comb has broken and I cannot find the spares of it anywhere.
I did not use it very extensively as mostly I prefer to shave. The product is excellent as many of others have reviewed it here.
The issue is the abailability of spares. Philips should list the spares for these items here in ecommerce sites itself. Right now I am forced to buy another trimmer, and I am not going to order this one.

Worth every penny
Excellent product !! Does the job !!One con would be it is not like facial trimmer, which will chop off all the hairs in one swing, this one takes time, but still worth it. I personally would recomend it.

This is a very good trimmer designed to take care of the sensitive male organs. Those who are complaining about hairs getting pulled must use it slowly. Its not a powerful trimmer and one can not expect it to use as fast as we use razors on our face.
So the trick is, slide it against the hair (oppssite to the direction of growth), slowly. Always use the 3mm attachment for longer hairs.
