The Philips DSP 56U comes with a 5.1 channel configuration. It has five 3" full-range satellite speakers and a 5.25" Subwoofer to deliver a home audio experience like never before. The satellite speakers can be mounted on to your walls for a more clearer surround sound experience.
These speakers are known for delivering high-quality sound thanks to its bass reflex design. This allows the speakers to produce rich bass and volume which enhances your movie and gaming experience. It also has a virtual surround sound processor which creates a surround sound experience in your living space.
The Philips DSP 56U home audio speakers are compatible with multiple devices such as CDs, DVDs, TVs and laptops. You can directly play media from a USB as the Subwoofer has a USB port. It also comes with a remote control which allows you to adjust the speaker's settings. You can even connect to local FM radio stations on these speakers.

Crystal clear sound
Nice bass
Suffices for a medium sized living room especially if the satellite speakers are positioned properly.
Some important info -
CANNOT connect to tv's with optical sound output. Needs a DSC which is pretty costly. ( I have an LG LED 42" and it does not support ).
CAN be connected to the AV jacks behind your set top box. I have a Tata Sky HD so I can't comment on other models/brands of boxes. So you would be able to watch movies in 5.1 on ur tv only if they c...
