GC1905 from Flipkart - Works Fine But has a few Kinks.
1) Prompt Delivery: Ordered on Saturday. Got it delivered by Monday.
2) Could be a Refurbished Product:
a) When it arrived, had good collection of dust and some "grease" like marks on it. They all could easily be cleaned with a damp cloth though.
b) Between the soleplate and the body, there seemed to be some red glue like polymer sticking out.
All of these would indicate a refurbished product to me. However, it isn't too much of a big deal. But, I certainly would like to know whether ...

Perfect Good steam with continues and Variable mode
DRY and Spray mode are good as well.
Another good product from Philips though its costlier than its counterpart BAJAJ IRON.
But edge is its quality and reliability.
I liked the product but not the cost :)

bad product
Do not purchase any steam iron...too much leakage problem..
simple iron are good.. purchase your own spray but not steam iron.
Good suggestion please do think of this.

When I bought the product it was working very well. after around a year use it is showing some problems- the unit is not getting enough heated even at highest degree, cotton, hence creez not getting removed. Water leakage in high cloud mode. Sprinkler not working. The product offers 2 year warranty, but needs to be taken to service center.

I have been using Philips GC 1905 steam iron for the past 1 week. The cord is 1.8 metres long. It makes the process of ironing very easy. I am enjoying ironing clothes. Few things to be kept in mind is 1. To turn the knob to steam mode only after it is hot. 2. While ironing in steam mode, avoid keeping your hand in front of the iron. I am very satisfied with the product.

I have used this for a very long time.
Its a good product and works as intended.
The best part is the Steam that comes out
A trick that I use everyday is - I fill the water tank and then just spray some Perfume in the tank. After that the clothes are ironed with that water. Gives the clothes good fragrance.
