Ordered this iron yesterday and was shown two free items with it which are supposed to be worth Rs. 1100 and Rs. 1000 according to flipkart. These two products are a laundry bag and room freshener. But now In the order summary these products are shown as Rs. 110 and Rs. 99 only not 1000 or 1100. I don't like it, just show their real worth and not these fake amounts.

Flipkart took some time to deliver this, but the delivery was as per the date mentioned on the order. So no complaints there.
An excellent iron. Lots of steam. Useful for ironing out tough wrinkles. Have had it for more than six months with no problems. Would definitely recommend this iron.

Heats up very fast, the steam generated is adequate to remove creases from the worst creased cotton shirts, even jackets,...the burst is rarely required but does a good job if you're wearing the item and need quick wrinkle removal, I warn against that as you may get scalded with the hot steam ! Check on delicates in a corner first as it truly heats up fast and will melt stuff in the blink of an eye on high heat.
Overall good for you to use or your staff as it is hardy.

AFTER ONE MONTH OF USE, I FOUND IT VERY USEFUL. BEFORE THIS WE WERE USING SIMPLE STEEL IRON.

PHILIPS GC2820 HEATS UP VERY QUICKLY, REMAINS HEATED AS REQUIRED,
IT HAS A WATER CONTAINER WHICH CONTAINS 300 ML WATER FOR STEAM.
THERE ARE MANY OPTIONS PROVIDED FROM SILK, WOOL TO COTTON ETC.
IT LENGHT OF WIRE IS GOOD. I LIKE ITS STEAM BURST TECHNOLOGY, DRIP DROP SYSTEM, AUTOMATIC THERMOSTAT, WATER SPRAY ETC.

LIFE BECOMES EASY THIS IRON !!!

I bought this Iron a month ago, unfortunately it stopped from getting heated due to some problem. Called Flipkart, they stated to replace as it is covered under 30 day replacement guarantee. Have got the replacement, can write a detailed review after 6 months, as I need some more time before which I can make a good comment on this Philips Iron Box, though Philips Iron Box is good in general. Giving 3 stars now, shall give 5 stars, if it works great even after 6 months

As always prompt delivery by flipkart. Thank You.And regarding the price i enquired in shops in Ernakulam and flipkart price was comparable and at times cheaper. As far as the product is concerned I have noted the following,
2000W so needs a powerplug.
Not to worry about electricity bill since frequent cut offs prevents heavy consumption.
weight 1.4kgs approx with water.
water capacity just enough for ironing 2 shirts and 2 pants and filling water is slightly difficult.
Not used the calc cle...

Good product but power plug is big and needs power line socket only. Cant use regular 3 pi socket!!. This detail needs to be highlighted in product description as not every room in house will have power line socket. Explicit mentioning of same will help lot of buyers like me, who do not think much about power specs for the product.

1) I was under the impression that I was buying a good product from a reputed distributor, so everything should be good.

2) Delivery timelines always kept changing and was delivered when I least expected.

3) The iron requires a big plug- you need to buy an additional adapter, which mean you cannot start using it as soon as you get it, this inspite of me calling the customer care and confirming that this will not require me buying an additional plug.

4) The product is not as great as mentio...

I have returned it back as i found that the plastic was of very poor quality. The plug can be used in 15 amp socket only. Last but not the least the packaging was poor/not sealed. I will think twice before ordering anything from this vendor.

awesome product... after all its Philips... its been a companion each day cuz i dont feel dressed sans it...!!
