There are minor differences between QT4001/15 and QT4005/15. You can buy this product over that. Only difference is the precison and discharging time.
cons:
A little too much noise than expected.
No indicator on the trimmer to know whether it is charging or not.(Charger has the indicator which is half way better).

Pros:
1) Battery backup is good comparable to old models of Philips Trimmers.
2) Adjustable trimmer head.
3) Blades of the trimmer are round in shape so no cuts & Blood.
4) Slim design & easy to hold
5) No need of oiling.
6) 3 Years Warranty (2yrs 1 Yr on Philips Website Registration)
Cons:
1) No LED light indication when Trimmer is in Use.
2) Vibration & Sound of motor is irritating.

Genuine new model, total VFM with the Yatra Offer
One difference is that QT4005 has length adjustments in 0.5mm intervals whereas this one, QT4001 has 1mm gradations.
This wasn't a major issue for me.
Also, without the removable comb (the attachment on top of the trimmer blade) the QT4001 too, cuts at 0.5mm
I confirmed with Philips India about this product, since it wasn't...

using since 3 years, on every week once,
there is two problems, first trimmer will not work during charging plugged, and second problem is its jaw teeth are smooth little week to take hairs up from sceen for cutting.
