I saw that most reviews complain about the bass being weak but it's meant to be a monitoring headphone (as the name says, It's not as good as the professional ones, but it almost does the job) so it'll have very few coloring and would have an almost balanced frequency response. So if you want to enjoy music on the go, this's not for you.

These are one of the best or simple better than others available in this price range. I would recommend this over SONY headphones in same price range or even those available at 1500-2000 are not better than philips.
