wastage of money

the book is black and white, it is so difficult to identify what changes have been made to the image and if you compare it with the colour version you will see the images are worst in black and white it would be better if you buy color version
the material is good but images are black and white, and that in a photoshop book

Why is this in Black & White

The B&W has taken away all the charm and meaning. Sometimes you can't make out what is been depicted in the pictures :(
Also the B&W conversion of the pics are not done properly. I feel a little more contrast would have helped.
Highly disappointed.

Good..but frustrating

It truly covers a lot of ground and is easy to follow. I am a novice, who may never use all the features of this complex software, but I bought the book to have a handy reference

like others have pointed, the B/W images kills it. Even with B/W, if the settings had been changed to make the images a little lighter, it could have been a little more legible

After reading this book you will be able to do almost all the things possible on photoshop,it teaches you the tips & tricks to tweak the tools,provides lots of interesting facts and its very well illustrated.
For color illustrations buy the Imported Edition(available on flipKart)
but it will cost you a bit more.
