A good book to brush up your physics concepts.

A great book by Resnick, Halliday and Krane, who are no doubt the pioneering experts when it comes to teaching physics.

This book takes a conceptual approach which is really important in making physics one's strong point. Diagrams are quite explanatory and the content is understandable without the help of a teacher or guide!

The Best Books on Physics at undergraduate level

This set of two volumes on Physics is the best resource available. It is far better than Walker's Fundamentals of Physics and Zemansky's University Physics. I recommend this set for IIT JEE. It is also the best books to understand and master the fundamentals of Physics. Only Feynman's Lectures are comparable to it. In fact Halliday and Resnick wrote two books on Physics. Flipkart is the best!
Coming to book.. one of the best book for Physics.
If u love physics, by it! otherwise go for walker. You may find it a bit dry!
I loved it,, Krane is more of Theory oriented! so kinda suited me well.

The one true book

This is one true book if you are interested in Physics. The way the subject is taught is just phenomenal and this book keep you hooked to the content. Have fond memories of reading this during JEE preps. Frankly, a 5 rating is just not enough for this book.

Awesome book...

People find physics boring because of exams. They just tell you the outer part and expect you to enjoy. The text in this book is not that great but the "Questions" sections is a must do. Those questions rise up from the deepest concepts of physics. Those are more important than the text. The text can be read from Resnick Halliday and Walker or University Physics. Those books have much much much better text.

Excellent book, nice cover page...

The book offers deep insights into the various topics and deals with them in a very systematic approach. Must have for KVPY and Olympiads. (Its also good for JEE but has many topics which are not asked in JEE).

VITAL FOR CONCEPTUAL STUDIES

This book covers many resources that may not be covered by others!! The chapters such as measurement is not mentioned in any book for iitjee in detail such as this one!! It may be considered as a bible for physics for students!it reached my home on the 1st day after order with brilliant packing!!!!

a person who solves HALLIDAY RESNICK AND KRANE and HC VERMA is sure to crack IIT-JEE WITH A good score...only thing which makes physics a bit boring due to this book is because in problems the value's of certain angle are nt good....there are problems where you have to find sin8.9..which makes a student switch his mind off...OVERALL THIS BOOKS IS THE BEST FOR THEORY AND PRACTICE PROBLEMS......

Decent product

This book will not be available further. They have provided me second hand copy of somebody who has used it earlier. Several pages diagrams are also missing.
