It does not cover a good range of topics. that is why we should read O.P. Gauba's An Introduction To Political Theory
O.P. Gauba's book is good for Basics. though i felt that the "Basic's are over-stretched in the books.
For people preparing for U.P.S.C. with Pol.sci as Optional, studying this book and parallel effort on preparing answers on previous years questions from political theory questions can prove to be challenging and worthy.

Got on time and with a nice price. Received in a good condition. Its a nice book for all those who wish to understand political theory from beginning. Easy language with sub-headings make it easy to grasp.
