ITS LIKE A COURSE TO STUDY - NICE TEXT
It is like a course of power electronics.Each and every topic was covered in the book. Also some points which not mentioned in P.S Bimbra was also covered in this. However go through the text to know how depth the subject of power electronics is

Really Nice
Contents of this book is more or less fine. Almost easy to read and understand. But the main problem with this book is it did not cover everything. Important topics like SCR are not discussed in depth. I f you buy this book then it is good to buy some other book for reference.

Q:is it better tham P.S Bhimbra
A:Some basic topics are given better in P.S. Bimbhra. Like controlled and uncontrolled rectifiers, the chapter on thyristor, etc. But dc-dc converter, PWM inveters are better in Rashid.
